My operating system is XP professional. I have Microsoft Security Essentials. Essesntials as disinfected Virus:Win32/Alureon.F and TroganDownloader:JS/Renos. Situation when I search the internet and make my selection from what is found I get redirected to some other site other than the one listed. In addition there are occations when I get a second webpage, that just appears, offering to answer questions to a survey. I think I still have a problem with the viruses listed. I am not sure what I need to do to correct the problem. Any assistance will be appreciated.1 person needs an answerI do too

Your computer is still infected with malware. Go through these general malware removal steps systematically: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). Please be aware that not all local shops are skilled at removing malware and even if they are, your computer may be so infested that Windows will need to be clean-installed. If possible, have all your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
