I upgraded to IE8 this morning and the Security Lock Icon is missing from the Lower Task Bar. How can I tell if I am on a secure website?1 person needs an answerI do too

What icon are you refering to?You can go to control panel and Security Center to see overal of system security.Internet Explorer 8 come with a feature called SmartScreen filter that would block websites and download that contain threats. Just go to safety tab and chose SmartScreen filter and make sure it is on.
