SCO UNIX drives will not mount under Windows 7
Have used SCO Unix Visionfs with several versions of Windows (98,XP,Vista) to share files from Unix on the windows computers. Just added a Windows 7 Prof. computer to network. When I try to map the Unix drive, Windows 7 reports the the password is incorrect. Any one help?

Hi, Have you tried working with the Services for NFS instead and tried installing the NFS client through Turn Windows Features on or off? -- Mike Burr

To map to the shares on a Unix drive, I suggest you change the NTLM level in Windows 7 in order to make it compatible with Unix. Please open gpedit.msc from Start Search box. Then locate to the following policy. Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Network security: LAN Manager authentication level Please change “Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated”.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I tried this and it did not resolve our issue, we still get "Windows cannot access \\XXXXX" even though from the same computer using the same user the XP virtual machine connects fine.

Hello, I am facing this exact same issue: windows 7 pro client trying to connect to SCO UNIX shares configured with VisionFS. Windows 98 connects just fine, although it needs to be configured to send plain text passwords. I've tried this with windows 7; nothing. When I am prompted for my username and password to access the Unix share, it does not accept. Thank you

Forgot to add; also tried the Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Network security: LAN Manager authentication level Please change “Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated”. ... but it did not work as well.
