SATA HDD Connectivity in Win 7
Hi,I m using Win 7 Eva copy build 7100. Whenever I connect my SATA160 GB HDD to my system, it does not detect. It detects IDE type HDD without any problems. Please help. Thanks. Athar

I'm not sure. You need to install RAID driver from your PC's manufacturer website.

Athar - You might have to go into the BIOS of your system and look for a setting related to SATA drives. Some BIOSs have a setting that puts the SATA drives in "IDE" mode or RAID mode. Unless you're building a RAID array, there's no need for that setting to be in anything but IDE mode.
