RCC is the ability to control a PBX phone from Lync

First delivered in Live Communications Server 2005 SP1

Lync Server 2013 has same capability as 2010 SP5 (allows for P2P video calling)

Only supported with Lync Server and Lync desktop client

RCC is deprecated on Skype for Business client

While RCC is supported in current released products, we recommend customers use Enterprise Voice
