A computer can only have one antivirus program installed. Having more than one can cause the computer to crash or run slowly.

You're welcome! You can run an online virus scanner along with an installed antivirus program. Some good ones are ESET Online Scanner , Windows Live OneCare safety scanner , and Trend Micro HouseCall . Disable your installed antivirus program while running an online scan, and enable it when the online scan finishes.

Thanks Steve,Hey I went to your web page and tried calling you and a lady answered the phone and she couldn't hear me. She kept saying hello. I finally hung up. I would like to speak with you on some major security issues I am having. I think my whole computer has been breached. When I logged on this morning and entered my sytem password. (I was very careful about entering it correctly) It said it was wrong. I re-typed it the same way and then it logged me in. I now think someone has that password. I logged into my administrator account and it did the same thing. So now I think they have that password! I am logged into my limited account at this time. It did the same thing! I need some help on this issue. I do believe all my passwords have been hacked. Including my email passwords.I need to know if I should take my computer and have it all reformatedNOW or is there some way to get my security back and my SANITY.PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY!

You're welcome, Spinnergirl. I'm afraid that you got the wrong number when you tried to call me. I'm the only one who answers my business phone. I'd be happy to look at your computer if you're in my area. If not, I recommend that you find a reputable independent computer consultant near you and work with that person. And, of course, you can get help here in the Microsoft Answers forums.
