I am trying to install a MSI in Windows 7. I keep getting the message "You need administrative rights on this computer in order to install this product" And of course right clicking on the file you do not get a Run as Administrator. Is there a way to run a MSI in Windows 7 without disabling the UAC?

You can use runas from command prompt. If you have account which is a member of local admin group. runas /profile /env /user:mydomain\admin "mmc %windir%\system32\dsa.msc"Regards, Manoj Sehgal

Hello, We encountered a similar issue. We started off launching the MSI through an Administrative CMD but this was hard work.
