Running XP home edition & infected with rustock.d. AVG free detects it and removes it, but it always returns. How can I delete it permanently and safely
I am infected with rustock.d virus, would like a means to remove this thing without having to purchase a specific product to do it. Running ANG free1 person got this answerI do too

Rustock.d is a rootkit infection. You will need expert help so get guided help at one of the specialty forums listed at the link below OR take your machine to a local computer professional OR back up your data and do a clean install of Windows.
