Run as Administrator bug
Don't ask my why I did this or that, but here's what happened. Some time ago I turned on the administrator account and put a password on it. Today I turned it off because I didn't want to type the password for it anymore. I could of removed the password but it didn't let me. So after that when I tried to run as adminstrator, it still thought that a password as needed. The only difference was there was no box for me to type the password into. Therefore I cannot run anything as administrator anymore.

I would suggest creating a new administrator-level account and checking to see if the issue persists. If this was helpful, please vote by clicking the green triangle. If it solves the issue, click Propose as Answer. Thanks!

Doing that requires you to run as administrator.

If there are no visible Administrator accounts, you can boot to Safe Mode (Restart computer, press the F8 key when the boot menu pops up, select [Safe Mode], and boot up). When the login screen appears, you should see the Built-in Administrator account. You can login using this account (it has no password, by default) and use it to change your normal account back to Administrator. It's best to use an administrator account in Windows 7, the UAC component will allow you to work with normal user account privileges and you can elevate any operation that requires administrator privileges. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
