Run Microsotft Security Essentials in silent mode
Hi all, Hopefully any on you can help me with the following problem. Is there a posibility to run the Microsoft Security Essentials in silent mode? That means without pop up, or asking me anything? I hope any of you can help me. Regards

What do you mean by silent mode? Do you mean single computer of more computers? I have silent system based on WSUS where computers were waiked up in BIOS, run all updates and shutdown by script after this. Similar procedure you can use in the case of one computer. Regards Milos

I mean the Microsoft Antivirus Software. I want to run the Security Essentials in background without showing me any nothifications. I dont found any option to enable this. Thanks and Regards

Hi, mseinstall.exe /s /q /o /runwgacheck Also, You will need to download the update and apply it seperatly else it will try to download the latest definitions straight away. Guide on that parthere.Juke Chou TechNet Community Support
