Dear Mircrosofters! (yes I know that's geeky :P), I have Windows XP Pro (original :P) with Service Pack 3. I have a program that works perfectly fine on an administrator account that only I know the password for, but does not work properly on another administator account that the user is assigned to use. The program's name is NBAD Encrypter. When I try using it to encrypt a file on my administrator account it does it fine. However, when I try on the user's administrator account it gives the error message"Run-time error '1010':Encrypting the output file failed.error 0 during CryptAcquireContext!"I tried everything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program in the problem admin account, and I tried uninstalling then clearing registry with CClearner then installing it in the problem admin account, I tried maximizing file permissions for the problem admin account towards the program files and the file to be encrypted, I tried relaxing all Group Policies especially in realation to installation and registry, but nothing worked! I even tried contacting the developer of the software but they couldn't help :/Please help, it is critical to get the program running in order to get the employees salaries transfered properly!Thanks,Row1 person needs an answerI do too

First of all, very few people responding in this forum work for Microsoft. I certainly don't. Secondly, since your issue is with a specific program not created by Microsoft you should contact the program's tech support, look for user forums for this program, or use something else that works. TrueCrypt is an excellent encryption program that has been around for many years and is free. Using an encryption program which doesn't work reliably is a recipe for disaster and I can't imagine why you would persist in doing so.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
