Roaming profiles won't transfer files
Hi! I've set up roaming profiles and everything is working great from my test accounts which is run on both physical and virtual machines. When I activated roaming profiles on one of our employers all of the folders are created correctly but non of the files are copied to the server (except the AppData/Roaming folder). I've tried logging in and logging out and also rebooting the computer. With no result. Anyone have any idea on why this occur? Best regards, Philip

1. Have you configured redirection? 2. Are there any traces in Event logs? Regards Milos

1. No folder redirection is not configured. I just changed his profile settings to the Fileserver (which I did on the other accounts) 2. No, no event traces and no errors. Best regards, Philip

Hello Philip, 1. Have have you prepared Windows 7 installations. Have you used sysprep with copy profile parameters? 2. Is the creation of new profile an option for you, if there is problem with only one user profile. 3. Audit may perhaps discover the reason ( I would prefere 2 if it is possible.) Regards Milos

Hi, Youd better take the ownership of the user profile first and then try again. Here are articles can be referred to. Option number 2: " Is the creation of new profile an option for you, if there is problem with only one user profile." This option worked for me. Thanks for the replies!
