Restriction on Private Laptops on Wired Network
In almost all the companies, an employee of that company would have an access to the Intranet/Internet via a Wired or Wireless connection. But I would like to restrict systems in some following scenario: 1. Suppose I'm an employee of a company and I had been provided a laptop to use Intranet/Internet via Wired Connection from my seat. Now if i got to someone else seat and try to connect it with a Wired Connection to get an access of Intranet/Internet then also I will be able to get an IP address to access Intranet/Internet. But my requirement is to restrict that. I would like to know how can I restrict this situation? NOTE: Please don't give me the solution of a MAC binding with a Network Ports because it is not a feasible solution to maintain the MAC address of all the assets(Systems include Laptops and Desktops) of an organization.
