Restrict IE to a small list of sites
If there is a better forum for this question please tell me where to go. :) Platform: IE 8, workgroup (no domain). I need to restrict IE to only be able to go to a small list of sites, perhaps only the sites listed in the "home" tabs. Is it possible to modify the registry entries for IE so that no other sites are accessible? Thanks, dpm

Hi dpm1, Thanks for the post! Please follow these steps to control the website access: 1. Open your Internet Explorer, click Tools, select Internet Options. 2. Open Content Tab, under Content Advisor, click Enable (with elevated privilege ) 3. Choose Approved Sites, you can create a list of websites that are always viewable. 4. Click Apply - OK Regards, Miya This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
