Restart during Windows startup
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
MSI P67 C43-B3 mobo
Intel i5 2500 CPU
8Gigs DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM 1600Mhz
WD Caviar Black 1TB
Microsoft Security Essentials is installed.
After installing updates, and sometimes after making other changes to Windows, either on restart or cold power-up.
Windows begins to boot, then system reboots.
Windows startup menu appears. Select Normal or Repair mode.
Normally, I select normal startup; Windows boots normally and runs without incident.
If I select repair mode, no solutions are found. This takes a long time, so I usually do not use this option.
This is a clean install of Windows, have never un-installed or modified the registry.
Sometimes there is an error in the Event Viewer for MS Security Essentials (Microsoft Antimalware) error code 3002.
Also, frequent WMI errors, code 10. Event Query.
I have had this issue ever since installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It isn't causing any trouble, but I am curious as to its cause.
Thanks for your help

probably it will go in blue screen and you
have enabled the autorestart.Remove
the option of automatically restart
in the advanced options and when
it happens again scored what is the
bug check and report it in this thread.

Thanks. I had the restart option ticked, but write an event was also ticked, so I thought it would write the event log regardless of the restart.
I have now un-ticked the restart option.
Thanks
