Removing old revisions of Net Framework
I have an HP Mini 1116NR Netbook [1.6gb/1gb/16gb] with XP Home. In "Add or Remove Programs" I show Net Framework 3.5 SP 1 and three older versions. Can the older versions be uninstalled to save disk space or is each revision contingent upon the last?2 people need an answerI do too

Hi, "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is a full cumulative update that contains many new features building incrementally upon .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and includes cumulative servicing updates to the .NET Framework 2.0 and .NET Framework 3.0 subcomponents." ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en ). You cannot uninstall .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 or .NET Framework 3.0 SP2. If you will try, you will receive a message like "...cannot be uninstalled because it will affect other applications that are installed."
