Sorry, but there's no "downgrade" option for the installation. If you're lucky (and you upgraded from Vista SP1) there'll be a Windows.old folder with a lot of your old stuff still in it.But a clean install is the only way that I know of.- John

Where can I locate this Window.old folder and what should I do with it after I've located it?

It should be in the root of your system drive. It'll contain the Users folder, the Program Files folder, and the Windows folder (AFAIK) from your old Windows installation. In this case, you may be able to use the stuff in the Windows.old\Windows folder to recover your drivers. Beyond that, as I stated before, you'll still be stuck doing a clean installation of your previous OS.- John

Maybe I should just use my recovery disks that I created when I first purchased my computer then?Whats the point of giving out a Windows 7 Beta for testing purposes only when you have to do all this fuss that is REALLY annoying about uninstalling it because of all the bugs?

Yes, use your recovery disk that was provided by your OEM. As for the rest of your statement, read this. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/beta-faq.aspx In either case, you would have to do SOMETHING come August 1, 2009 as that is when this beta expires. MS made that very, very clear. If it is that annoying, then dont test beta software and wait for the actual release.
