I do have a hangup with SQL SERVER DATA FRAMEWORK TOOLS. It will not remove because VISUAL STUDIO is already removed. Can I delete these 4 entries from the Register SAFELY? If I find the SQL SERVER in the Register can it be removed. Can I remove the programs related to the Visual tools I removed in the /assembly/ folders?

I am afraid that your procedure has not been correct one. Use procedure described here http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2010uninstall http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955499/en-us (for instance) https://msmvps.com/blogs/paulomorgado/archive/2010/07/02/how-to-add-and-remove-sql-server-2008-2008r2-instances.aspx Regards Milos PS: Use elevated administrator rights.

I seem to have gotten into a real mess. I have pages of Silverlight 4 and 5 in the register. Removal from the Control Center did not remove these and the others I referenced earlier. I do have an entry in the Start Menu that points to a version 5, but opening it only gives me a screen which looks like config. It has ABOUT, UPDATES, PLAYBACK, WEBCAM/MIC, PERMISSIONS, APPLICATION STORAGE. Therefore, no uninstall available. It really looks as if I will have to remove all entries related to silverlight 4 and 5. Both in the register and on the C: Drive

They are personal configurations for Visual Web Developer 2010 Express, Visual Basic Express and Visual Studio. If you will not use these applications anymore, you can delete them. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
