Removing Bing Bar from Programs list
Hi, Just setting up a brand new Dell laptop with Windows 7 32-bit and want to remove unneeded apps. Trying to remove 'Bing Bar' and get an error saying I need to be logged on as an admin. I'm logged on with the built-in admin account and the machine is not yet connected to a domain. How can I remove this software?

To uninstall Bing Bar: Click Start, and then click in the Start Search box. Type appwiz.cpl, and then Right Click ( Run As Administrator ) In the Uninstall or change program list, click Bing Bar, and then click Uninstall. Follow the on-screen instructions. Regards, MCP MCTS MCITP
