Removeable flash media mounts with no MBR/VBR
Why does Windows mount and show ThumbDrives as partitioned when they have no Master Boot Record, Partition Table or Boot Signature (55:AA)? The first sector of this drive is filled with 0x00. I've also disabled WPDBusEnum and set automount to disabled in diskpart. Is there anyway to disable this behavior? P.S. Is there any way to stop Ready Boost from benchmarking drives on insertion?
