My system is infected with a virus attached to my WinLogon file. According to my AVG Virus Remover it is white listed meaning the program cannot remove it as it is critical to the operation of the computer. How do I go about manually removing it. I'm reluctant to simply restore my computer to the factory setting as I use Microsoft Office extensively and no longer have my disks (they were lost in a cross country move) and do not have the several hundred dollars to replace it.This virus also affects the recognition of my disk drive. I tried to load a new malware fighter and it kept telling me that it couldn't find drive E, my disc drive is D.Thanks for any help.
