I have added another HD which was used on a Windows 2000 professional. Now I can not access the drive from my XP system. I keep getting 'Access denied' message. I followed instructions to edit the registry. Still no use. Tried to change the attributes from command prompt. Still I get message saying the directory could not be accessed. Please help. Also try to run scan with an updated Anti-Virus in the driver and remove threats if any detects. Try to right click on driver and then chose explorer and see if you can access or not.
