Remotely Manage Certificates
When I try to remotely connect to a Windows 7 machine to view the certificate stores, I get a pop-up saying: "The certificate stores could not be enumerated. The network path was not found." This is not a network problem as my admin workstation has any/any port access to the entire network. I am also able to successfully RDP to the workstation and the firewall is turned off. How can I remotely manage certificates on these machines? Thanks

Hi, Here are some suggestions you can try: 1. Temporarily turn off firewall on local machine and target machine. 2. Temporarily turn off UAC and add the user is in the local administrator group. 3. Assure the Remote Registry service is started on each Windows 7 machine. Hope this helps. Novak

Remote Registry service is set to Manual in Windows 7 by default it seems. That fixed it. Thanks so much...
