Hello folks this is my first post so I'm just getting started :) We have a WINXP machine connection to another WINXP machine via Remote Desktop protocol and the problem seems to be that when the connection is idle it either disappears from the taskbar or disconnects. Remote machine is set to be always on. I even disabled the screen saver and turn off monitor but no help. It only does this when idle for 10-15 minutes. Is there way to avoid connection from dropping. I can't seem to find a way to save the login password either so when it drops we need to re-enter that as well. Is there way to automate login process with both username and password credentials? Thanks in advance!
