Remote desktop connexion make my remote computer go to standby
Not after every connexion but often, after i disconnect from my remote session i can't take my windows 7 Pc in remote because it went to standby mode. I take the pc from a XP desktop at my job. The Standby mode is disable on the windows 7 pc and i always quit by the X button of the remote connexion windows. Why is it going in standby even if it's desactivated and wy isnt it every time?

Hi, It seems that the remote computer goes to sleep after disconnecting the remote session. Regarding this problem, please log on the remote computer, click Start, type: devmgmt.msc in Start Search box, open Device Manager, expand Network adapters, right click on the network card, click Properties, click Power Management, check the box “Allow this device to wake the computer”. Meanwhile, please go to Power Options, double check the Power settings, ensure that the sleep or hibernate isn’t enabled. Also make sure that the Screen Saver is disabled. Please try updating the device drivers such as display card driver to the latest version and see if the issue can be resolved. If the issue persists, access Clean Boot to check the issue. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
