Remote desktop connection via dial up
I have a laptop computer and a desktop. Both run XP Pro SP3. I want to use dialup to access the desktop from the laptop and to control the desktop from the laptop using Remote Desktop. The laptop frequently doesn't have internet access of any kind, not even via a dialup service provider, so for my purpose it has to be dial up directly between the two PC's. I know there are (lack of) speed issues. Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Not only is your message off-topichere in a Vista forum, but if you ask in the right place, you willhave a much better chance of getting the answer you need, since that'swhere the experts in your technology hang out.Ken Blake (MS MVP)
