Remote desktop connection (user specific)
Hi, My question is regarding Remote desktop connection: Environment: Host: Windows 7 Client: Windows vista (Both professional version) On host computer it is set to Allow connections only from computers running remote desktop with network level authentication setting And n Select users is set to user1 But its allowing remote access to user2 as well. Where am I doing it wrong? I only want to give access to user2, so when I access host it only allows me access if I enter user1 credentials?SoomroWaseem

If user2 is a local admin on the host, he will be able to remote in as well. You can verify who has access to remote in by checking the 'Administrators' and 'Remote Desktop Users' groups stored locally on the host.Rich Prescott | Infrastructure Architect, Windows Engineer and PowerShell blogger | MCITP, MCTS, MCP Engineering Efficiency @Rich_Prescott Windows System Administration tool AD User Creation tool

That's correct it was Administrator rights. Thanks Rich. SoomroWaseem
