Remote assistance
I have Windows XP Home version. I have a friend who is on Windows 7. He has some issues and wanted to use remote assistance to help him. He couldn't get it to work from his end, so I was going to try to use remote assistance from my end. However, I don't see any way that XP Home does anything but accept help from others...but general XP articles I saw out on the web show the XP user using the other person's IP address to use remote assistance to go to THEIR computer. Is XP Home made so that it can't do that function, i.e., that function is exclusively available to XP Pro? The thrust of this email is hope to find a way with my XP Home to be able to initiate remote assistance from my end and help a user who is on WIndows 7.1 person needs an answerI do too

Use Cross Loop. Link below. Of course you will both need to download the software. You and your friend will open Cross Loop. You will click on the Access tab and your friend will click on the Share tab. He will then provide you with the access code that appears in the window. You will paste the code into the Cross Loop window then both of you will click connect. He will be required to confirm his choice. The viewer will launch giving you control of his computer. It is more efficient to use an instant messenger service while connecting. For a more detailed description and to downlod the software, click on the link below to my website. Then click on the "How it works" tab on the left. http://repairbotsonline.weebly.com Sometimes deciding which battle to fight is the toughest battle of all…..
