Remote Tools For Visual Studio 2012 wouldn't work after Windows RT 8.1 update

I have a Surface RT device. When I heard that Windows 8.1 were going to manufacturers, I decided to give it a try on my Surface RT.

I had "Remote Tools For Visual Studio 2012" working correctly before the update. After the update, it won't work. It is installed, but when I tap on it, it won't open and Visual Studio on my dev device won't see the surface. I try to uninstall and reinstall, the uninstall seemed to work, but the Remote Tools still appears in my search list. So now when I try to install a new version, I get the following error message:

Windows cannot verify he digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.

Can anyone kindly help me out with this?

Thanks for your
