Sure it does not matter on dynamic or static ip what matter is the gateway, you can make the remote desktop if the both connecting computer are under same gateway and if not under same gateway then the ip address must be routeable (Public) not the private ip just go to command prompt and type ipconfig Enter You will get your ip address now open net meeting Start Run Type "conf" Enter Follow the Steps Finish Installation Dial teh Ip Address Hope this solve the issue Best of Luck and RegardsSohail Khan
