Remote Desktop hangs
When I try to log in to a server with Remote Desktop, I have the follwing issue: 1. When remote desktop is Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 - no problem.2. When remote machine is Server 2008 the Credentials Screen locks up and no connection possible. I have to terminate the process with Taks Manager. However, now the strange part:When the credentials screen locks up and I select "Switch User" from the Start menu and log back in with my user, the Remote Desktop continues without problems and I can use it as expected. Any ideas? Mark.

Hi Mark, after checking the issue, it seems this is a general terminal service related issue. As this forum focuses on Windows 7 specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to terminal service forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserverTS/threads The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Hi Sean,Thanks for the reply and i will post there.I can also add in the meantime that the same problem occurs when I start outlook 2010. The credential Windows hangs ...So I am not sure if it is really the terminal service issue, rather then a Windows 7 security issue.Regards,Mark
