I just purchased a HTC TouchPro2 Verizon Phone with Windows Mobile Software. I'm having problems with my "Remote Desktop Mobil" - settings. Straight to the point. Computer name- Start, computer, properties, computer name. Name and Password- start, computer, properties, remote, check "allow others to remotely connect". You can now set up a user name and password. A domain name can be aquired from sites such as dyndns.org (its free). download the updater as well so that when your dymnamic ip address changes it will detect it and send the info to dyndns server. Security is your biggest issue when connecting over the internet. If you are using a router you need to do port forwarding. Google port forwarding for your router and make the changes. Again opening ports can be a security issue. This is the most common way i know of when connecting over the internet. Security is a whole other story. If u r talking about wifi or bluetooth networking skip the part about dnydns.
