Remote Desktop automatically disconnects me after 60 seconds
I am connecting from a Windows XP Pro SP2 system to a Windows 7 Pro system. I am able to connect, login, and work on the Windows 7 system normally for about 60 seconds. Then it disconnects me with the following message. "Your remote desktop session has ended. Another user connected to the remote computer, so your connection was lost. Try connecting again, or contact your network administrator or technical support group." At that point I can repeat the process of logging in until I am kicked out again. No other user is connecting to the computer. As a troubleshooting step I have removed all security software including anti-malware, host intrusion prevention, and firewall. The Windows firewall is also disabled. I upgraded the RDP client on my Win XP system to version 7. No local policies are set in regard to Terminal Services. I can't think of anything else to check. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I suggest going to test it in the Clean Boot and trying to reset the router. Also, please follow this link and see if it is any help to your issue: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=898713 Hope this helps. Regards, Sabrina
