Remote Desktop Connection won't allow concurrent sessions?
I just started trying to use RDC with Win7 because I am trying to use less third party software by using more built in software. I would think it would be the norm to be able to log into another computer remotely and not have to log off the current user. Just like UltraVNC or other third party VNC software does. Does this really not affect a majority of users or is there some work around everyone else knows or what? Win7 RDC seems to work really well, but I don't think I will end up using it because of this limitation. I did try the remote assistance, and it works very well, but requires someone be at both ends to be able to start a session. Live Mesh actually works well too, but works a bit slower because of always having to go through the cloud.

The Windows Server products allow more than one simultaneously logged on user. You could run a virtual pc and remote into that. That way a user doesn't have to log off on the host machine.

What version of Windows 7 supports concurrent sessions?

"What version of Windows 7 supports concurrent sessions?" The client versions of Windows only allows one user to use the computer at a time. The server versions of Windows is designed so administrative tasks can be carried out without requiring the present user to log off or be temporarily suspended from using the computer while another user logs on. Note that still only one user can be using the computer locally at one time, all other sessions will have to be remote access. So to answer your question, no versions of Windows 7 supports concurrent sessions. Only the server versions support "concurrent" sessions.
