I have not been able to successfully connect my Win7 RC to my Vista Ultimate HTPC. This works fine with WinXP installed on same laptop but not with the Win& RC. I open the RDC and enter the IP of the Vista Ultimate HTPC, it takes me to the HTPC login screen showing its background and user icons, then I enter the Administrator Password, I am then told the Username or Password is incorrect. Guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to enter the UserID as <machine name>\UserID?

Yes, that does not work. I am wondering if I do not fully understand the new network configuration in Win7 but I don't see what I am doing wrong.
