Remote Desktop Connection Logon
I was able to use remote desktop from Windows XP Pro. I have a computer in my living room and one in the kitchen. Ican remotely access either computer from the other room. What I don't understand is when using the living room computer to remotely accessing the computer in the kitchen, the kitchen computer logs off. The same goes for the kitchen when remotely accessing the living room. I have seen remote tech support remotely access a computer and you can actually see them manipulate the desktop. How does that happen?1 person needs an answerI do too

They're not using Remote Desktop Connection for that - they're using some other form of desktop support tool. There are several on the market that will do that.Remote Desktop Connection takes over the workstation, as you've seen, and logs out any account that's active at the time. -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com | http://www.onenote-tips.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

Thank you for your reply, Ben. I wasn't sure if it had something to with another type of program. It certainly makes sense though. Will I still be able to have someone troubleshoot my PC from somewhere else using RDC?
