I have a user who cannot connect to our server on our domain, local network ip 172.20.1.2 However the user can connect to other ip's on the domain network ip 172.20.1.111 The user had been able to connect, but suddenly the remote desktop connection returns the Protocol Error for that IP. The administrator user can also connect to the IP in question, but other users (who have admin rights) cannot and return the same Protocol Error. I have tried to clear the registry locations pertaining to the remote desktop, context click - run as admin (not available, I assume because the user is an admin), and add users to remote desktop users through My Computer>Manage>Local Users and Groups>Groups>Remote Desktop. Still nothing but the Protocol Error. Please advise and thanks! Pat
