Remote Desktop Connection
Should I be able to wake a Windows 7 machine which is in hibread sleep mode? BIOS and Network Card are set to allow connections, but I cannot seem to wake the target Windows 7 machine. USB, keyboard and mouse wake up the machine ok.

Hi, In theory, it should work if your remote computer supports wake up on Lan. But the hibernation function does not work equally well on all hardware. If it disables the network adapter on the remote machine, it will not work. I advise that you confirm with the hardware vendor of the remote machine with Windows 7.At the same time, it is suggested configuring the related settings to narrow down the root cause of the issue. 1. Click "Start", type DEVMGMT.MSC in the Search bar, and press Enter. Note: If UAC (User Account Control) window is prompted for permission to continue, please click Continue. 2. Right-click your network adapter, and then click Properties.3. On the Power Management tab, ensure that the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is unchecked. Check on the option, Allow this device to wake the computer4. Click OK, and then close Device Manager. If the suggestions do not work, please update your Network card driver to test the issue. One additional info, please also uncheck Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer in Power Management tab. Meanwhile, it's very important to make sure the most updated Win7 compatible network adopter driver was installed.
