I am trying to use Remote Desktop on a network to access 2 laptops from one, using laptops with running softwareVista home premium, Vista home basic, and Windows 7 home premium.Do this I need a Remote Desktop (option) on the bottom of theRemote tab, in Sytem Properties, However this is not there. I don't believe the Home editions allow RDC host (server side) connections. They have the RDC client - i.e., you can use them to connect to another PC having Teminal Services - but you cannot connect to the Home editions from another PC.Some claim that changing the fDenyTSConnections value in the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server” hive to “0” from “1” will allow Home editions to accept RDC connections.
