When I tried using easy connect, it cannot connect to peer to peer network. I tried troubleshooting it and these are the results:

Above all, please test if you can connect via invitation file, or directly remote to the target system with MSTSC (Remote Desktop Connection) by using the IP of the target server.

If still not, disable Windows Firewall on both system to see the result. 

Meanwhile please help confirm:

1. The system edition.

2. Whether or not these 2 systems are in domain, and are connected on a same router/hub.

My router supports Easy Connect. I am sure because I did use this not a month ago without problems.

If you would like to dig a little deep you may first confirm if your friend side also support for Easy Connect - if he has 2 computers at home, try it to see the result.

And as you said at least we got a workaround with using invitation file.

My Friends Computer Has Easy Connect and It's Windows 7 (Not Sure About The Version). But since invitation file option is working, i'll just use that instead. It just works the same way except the file it sent through email. Thanks for you time. :)

Alternatively, if you have Bluetooth you can transfer it that way, using a phone if necessary.  <eg>

The default Teredo server seems to be offline the last few months. See my post here to set the new one in your system:
