Remote Access Connection
I have two computers in different locations. Each computer has two NIC cards, and both computers are hooked to each network (call them network 1 and network 2). How do I set it up so when I do a Remote Access Connection from computer 1 to computer 2, it only uses network 2 ??

Hi Gordon, You can establish a VPN (Virtual Private Networks) and then use the Remote Access Connection. For the steps about VPN and how to set up VPN connection, please refer to the following articles: VPN Technical Reference Remote Access Step-by-Step Guide: Deploying Remote Access with VPN Reconnect [How To] Set Up A VPN Connection in Windows 7 with screenshots Hope this helps. Regards, Linda Linda, Thanks for the input. My IT person actually came up with the answer: Connect to the host computer by IP address (since the two networks aren't connected) instead of the computer name. This will enforce the use of network 2 to make the connection. Gordon
