Hi,

Few weeks earlier i decided to upgrade to windows 8.1 from the Store but it turns out it was a bad decision , so now i wanna use my laptops options to restore the 8.0 version but it says:

" Your pc needs to be repaired , This application or operating system couldn't be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors. 

File:\windows\system32\winload.efi

Error code:0xc0000001

Windows 8 users may fix this boot error without an installation disc by using the Windows Startup Settings.

Use Windows Startup Settings

1.Restart your computer

2.Press SHIFT + F8 when booting to open the Recovery screen

3.Select the Advanced repair options

4.Go to Troubleshoot and then Advanced Options

5.Select Windows Startup Settings

6.Click on Restart

In addition, you may try the method below:

If you have access to another Windows 8 PC, create a recovery disk:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

And boot in USB to repair it, you could contact your computer's manufacture support and ask them to send you recovery media for Windows 8 or suggest other support options.
