Registry curiosity
I remember one night when I was checking out my registry, I stumbled upon an entry, class, s(someting in registry) that had all the websites I visited since installing Windows. Was I imagining this from too much Jolt and coffee or is there really a log of some sort in registry that stores this info. I do mean registry not a temp file. Befuddled, deep into regedit trying to relocate this (if indeed it exists) any help would be greatly appreciated thx

The index.dat files contain the sites you have visited, but the registry only contains the URLs that you have typed. To remove unwanted IE address bar URLs, open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type regedit, press Enter then navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs. In the right pane, right-click and delete those that are unwanted. If you want to ‘clear’ your tracks completely, download the free version of Index.Dat Analyzer and delete the unwanted entries, here http://www.systenance.com/indexdat.php
