Registry Cleaners
I know everyone hates registry cleaners but what if you really need one? I have uninstalled VirtualBox and I really need to clean up the registry so I can re-install it. Appearently, it keeps loading the same reg values on my system. I want a clean installation so I can determine the configuration paths. Anyway, what do you recomend? I have already made a backup of my resgistry and in the process of deleting keys with the name "VirtualBox" along with system32\driver\VirtualBox*. This is the good old manual style but is there anything good out there for Windows 7 64Bit?"There's a time and place for that. The time is... Never. You can figure out the place on your own".

I use RegSeeker both for locating info in the registry and cleaning it when I feel like it. If you use it, once it's done scanning, click on Select then Select all Green Items . Then click on Action and Delete Selected Items . Make sure the Backup before deletion box is checked so if something gets deleted that shouldn't, it's simple to put it all back and try again.Rich Why can't I be different and original like everybody else? - Vivian Stanshal

Rich Why can't I be different and original like everybody else? - Vivian Stanshal Thanks. I did it the old fashion way... ha ha ha.. Find "Key" and "Delete". All I needed was to cleanup VirtualBox for the new version out there. What a shame, Windows 7 Virtual PC 64Bit DOES NOT support any 64bit installation. I guess VirtualBox is definetely ahead of them."There's a time and place for that. The time is... Never. You can figure out the place on your own".

Ahead or behind is perspective. You can figure out the place on your own. ;-) http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/support/faq.aspx No. Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode was designed to help small business with application compatibility from Windows XP to Windows 7. The majority of business applications currently run on 32-bit versions of Windows XP.
