Region and Language settings have no effect on Excel 2010
Hello, I have been looking for a solution to this problem for months now. We rencently redeployed a user with a new Windows 7 machine with Office 2010. She had previously been using a Windows XP machine with Office 2010 and we had configured the Region and Language settings to get her negative numbers to look a certain way. For whatever reason, this is not working on her Windows 7 PC. I have followed the steps here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/change-the-default-date-time-number-or-measurement-format-HA010351415.aspx but to no avail. I have tested on serveral Windows 7 machines around my office and found that the all have the same problem. The XP machines on the other hand, work without fail. Any advice? Thanks, Eric
