Regarding Freezing and Sound Driver Issues.
Hi Gang, I experience issues with Windows 7 RC randomly freezing up on me where I am required to force the computer to restart. Has anyone experienced this? Also I notice that my sound application comes and goes, I am required to restart in order to get my sound working once again. Other than this, this system works great.

Hi, I had a similar problem. I have the Realtek HD Sound, 7.1. For some reason it happened a few times upon a fresh install and then nothing. The problem went away. To this day I can't figure it out. Could be the build or just the codec itself. My advice is see which build of win7 it is - update to the latest audio codec - restart - if does not work - try using an older codec driver. Believe it or not, it works a lot more times then updating to the newest one.
