friends i have a very weird problem with my windows 8.1 ...

when ever i create a new folder anywhere it doesnot appear on the screen .. i have to refresh the screen then a new folder comes and then i can put the desired name.

same as with a delete operation or even cut paste.. when i am deleting a file ... or renaming or cut paste .. it doesnt shows the file moved or deleted and i have to refresh with f5 to see the results... any idea .. my system is fully patched with new updates and protected with Symantec EndPoint protection.

Please advise. 8.1 Enterprise. 64Bit

1. Display card issue.
2. System performance issue.

Accordingly, we can take the following steps for troubleshooting:

1. Update the driver for the display card to the latest version.
2. Run Clean Boot/Safe Mode and see if the issue persists.

System performance... this is also very unlikely. i have i7 latest lappi... 16Gb ram. boots in 15 seconds. all goes very smooth and fast.

drivers are updated. safe mood also tried no help. any other

If the issue persists in the Safe Mode, I suggest we also try creating a new Windows Account for a test.
