Reformatting/out of space problem
My computer was taken over by a VERY nasty virus/trojan. After reformatting, it put 10.6G of free space on D, but only 1.6G on C.I have already tried all that I can think of to increase space, including - deleting all old files; cutting down of usage space by items such as recovery, etc.; compressing; moving files; even re-reformating! If I move certain files, then things don't work anymore. I re-download things like MS Office or my printer files, it does not give me the option of which drive to download to.I have researched EVERY site (at least it seems like it) on what to do to free disk space and I am convinced what I need is to reallocate disk space from D to C, but the programs out there to do this are extremely expensive. PLEASE help me!1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello PegAlex I agree that you will need to increase the size of the system partition. If you cannot afford a program like Partition Magic your only alternative is to search for a free program.I would like to help with that but I have no experience of the free ones.I found Partition Wizard Home Editionbut cannot say if it is any good.If you decide to try one of these programs please back up all your files first as a precaution. Can`t you just reinstall and fix the partitions then?

Tried reinstalling, but there was no opportunity to "pick and choose" my options.
