Hi.  I've setup Office 365 on my domain to speak with my husband (his company uses LYNC 2013).  When I try to IM him, I get the following error.

When contacting your support team, reference error ID 1028 (source ID 243).

I show online (green) and my domain seems setup correctly.

have you configure Federation between 2 domain to start with? if not, follow the guide below.
