Redirect Favorites on Vista GPO
Hi
We are synchronising the %userprofile%\documents path with a file-server.
Now we used windows xp before and we have redirected the favorites to the following path:
%userprofile%\my documents\system\favorites
But now on Windows Vista the redirection doesn't work.
I'm using the admx files over an dc-server.
These are my configurations:
GPO:
User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Folder Redirection -> Favorites
Setting: Basic- Redirect everyone's folder to the same location.
Target: Redirect to the following location
C:\users\%username%\documents\system\favorites
But that doesn't work.
How can I configure the redirection of the favorites folder that it really works?
Can anybody help me?

Hi,
You can use following steps outlined:
1. Create a shared folder with full control permission on dc-server.
2. Opena GPO on anOU which include the users which need to redirect folder and then go to User Configuration-> Windows Setting-> Folder Redirection-> My Documents.
3.Select Basic in setting drop down list and select Creat a folder for each user under the root path.
4. Type in \\<DCservername>\<shared folder name>
5. Log off and log on the specific user on Windows Vista to check if the GPO has been applied.
